paper conceptualizes the role (complementarity or substitutability) of a set of
IT-enabled capabilities in effectively facilitating inbound open innovation -
the strategy to open up the organization’s internal innovation process to external
ideas and partners. These IT-enabled capabilities have been argued to
contribute significantly to innovation in organizations.
