Les salaires dans le secteur des technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) : Éléments de comparaison entre le Canada et d’autres pays
The purpose of this research report is to enable TECHNOcompétences to contextualize the results of the Diagnostic sectoriel du secteur des Technologies de l'information et des communications (2023) conducted in Quebec, with the situation elsewhere in Canada and abroad. To do so, we identify various data sources, develop and apply a methodology for comparing wages for occupations in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Sweden. We then discuss the limitations of the comparisons made, highlighting the factors other than salary that employees take into account when choosing a job.
