CIRANO expert group set up to analyse the impact of Canada-US trade tensions

In the current context of trade tensions between the United States and Canada, several CIRANO experts are being called upon by our government partners and the media to analyse the situation and assess the economic and political impact for Quebec and Canada.

In order to respond effectively to these requests and to coordinate our actions with government authorities, CIRANO has set up a group of experts to produce information notes for our partners.

Our aim is to provide rigorous, informed analyses to support decision-making and better anticipate the issues associated with this situation.

The group of experts includes : Thierry Warin (HEC Montréal, CIRANO), Julien Martin (ESG-UQÀM, CIRANO), Dalibor Stevanovic (ESG-UQÀM, CIRANO), Patrick Leblond (University of Ottawa, CIRANO), Stéphane Paquin (ÉNAP, CIRANO), Lota Tamini (Université Laval, CIRANO), Ari Van Asche (HEC Montréal, CIRANO) and Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin (Polytechnique Montréal, CIRANO).
