Roxane Borgès Da Silva at the 2025 ALASS Congress in Tunisia

As president of the Latin Association for the Analysis of Health Systems (ALASS), Roxane Borgès Da Silva, Full Professor at the School of Public Health of the Université de Montréal, researcher and CIRANO Fellow, delivered the opening address at the 35th Annual ALASS Congress alongside the Congress President, Professor Ali Mtiraoui. The congress took place from June 12 to 14, 2025, at the University of Sousse in Tunisia. This international event brought together researchers and decision-makers committed to improving access to healthcare on a global scale.

The opening ceremony also featured speeches by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Mohamed Ben Dhiad, the President of the University of Sousse, Professor Lotfi Belkacem, the Vice-Rector of the Université de Montréal, Professor Valérie Amiraux, as well as the Tunisian Minister of Health, Mr. Mustapha Merjani.
