Since 2012, the Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR) has been organizing an annual health research conference. This year, it was held from May 29 to 31, 2023. CIRANO was one of this year's partners.

Roxane Borgès Da Silva, past president of the CAHSPR, Associate Professor at Université de Montréal's School of Public Health and Vice-President of Research Funding and CIRANO Fellow, opened the conference and moderated a panel discussion with Dr. Luc Boileau, Quebec's National Director of Public Health, ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, and Joanne Castonguay, Health and Welfare Commissioner, on the evolution of Quebec's healthcare system.

Erin Strumpf, Associate Professor at McGill University, researcher and CIRANO Fellow, took part in the Real-World Evidence in Cancer Health Services and Policy Research panel. 

Jolianne Bolduc, Lecturer at Université de Montréal, presented her work during the poster session.
