As part of a research project led by André Blais, professor at the Université de Montréal and CIRANO Researcher and Fellow, a deliberative citizens' assembly will be held from June 2 to 4, 2023 at the Longueuil City Hall in order to promote informed reflection and discussion on municipal electoral democracy. Ruth Dassonneville, Professor at the Université de Sherbrooke, and Patrick Fournier and Jean-François Daoust, both professors at Université de Montréal, are collaborating on the project.
