Frédéric Marty, Research Fellow at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Member of the College of the French Competition Authority and CIRANO Research Associate carried out an interview on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) as a facilitator of anti-competitive cartel practices for Uplawder.

In this interview, Frédéric Marty discusses the ability of AI to facilitate an anticompetitive cartel, the regulatory apprehension of such a practice, the means of detection used by the Competition Authorities, the issue of the liability of the software publisher -IA- and of the user company, and the similarities with parallelism of behavior.
