Since 2013, the Canadian Women Economists Committee (CWEC) has conducted a biennial survey on gender trends among faculty members in economics departments and university enrolment in economics in Canada.

The 2023 report was produced by Erin Strumpf, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University and CIRANO Fellow and Researcher, with the assistance of Ella Corkum.
