Ari Van Assche, Professor at HEC Montréal,  main researcher of the Global Economy Theme and CIRANO Fellow, has been selected by the Executive Committee of the Academy of International Business (AIB) to become the next Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Business Policy.

Currently Associate Editor of the journal, he will succeed Sarianna Lundan, founding Editor-in-Chief of the scholarly journal, on January 1, 2024.

JIBP is an official publication of the Academy of International Business (AIB), aimed primarily at academics and researchers, and is intended to serve as the primary outlet for theoretical and empirical research in all policy areas related to international business. Articles are evaluated for innovation, academic rigor, and policy relevance and should aim to improve the knowledge needed to design, implement, and maintain effective international trade policies.
