Simon Bourdeau (Université du Québec à Montréal et CIRANO), Thibaut Coulon (Université du Québec à Montréal) and Dragos Vieru (Université TÉLUQ) presented the results of the CIRANO report "Gestion d’infrastructures technologiques et applicatives par les organisations publiques : Enjeux et pratiques d’évolution et de durabilité" (co-written with Thibaut Coulon and Dragos Vieru).
This study identifies and analyzes the challenges faced by public organizations in terms of the management of technological and application infrastructures. In addition, the practices deployed in order to : 1) overcome these issues, 2) extend the sustainability of these infrastructures, and 3) meet the challenges related to constant technological change have also been identified and analyzed. To this end, 40 infrastructure management experts from the public, private and academic sectors actively participated in this project.
