A Bachelor of Commerce of McGill University in Montréal, and a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal, Philippe Rainville is a Chartered Professional Accountant since 1986.
Prior to joining Aéroports de Montréal (ADM), Mr. Rainville gained a solid expertise within several large consumer package and distribution companies such as Provigo, Pepsi Cola and in particular, Molson where he served in a variety of senior management positions in the areas of finance, strategic planning and information systems. He was also Chief Financial Officer, North America, for Tarkett Inc., a multinational manufacturer of hardwood and vinyl floor covering.
He joined Aéroports de Montréal in January 2008 as Vice President Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer. As a member of the Management Committee he was involved in all aspects of corporate management and governance. He represented the Company permanently to the Audit committee and to the Board of Directors.
In April 2014, he was appointed as Vice President Airport Planning, Engineering and Terminal Maintenance where he was involved in the delivery of key infrastructure projects such as the major expansion of the International sector delivered in May 2016.
In January 2017, Mr. Rainville is nominated President and Chief Executive Officer of Aéroports de Montréal.
Mr. Rainville is a member of the Board of Montréal International and is very active in several charitable organizations.
