In its 2018-2025 Biofood Policy, the Quebec government aims, among other things, to make local purchasing one of the cornerstones of economic and social prosperity. Territorial brands are strongly favored to encourage local purchasing. These include initiatives such as Maïs sucré de Neuville, Agneau de Charlevoix, Saveurs du Bas-Saint-Laurent and Aliments du Québec. But have these initiatives really achieved the desired success?
Speakers Bernard Korai and Remy Lambert will answer this question in a webinar on December 12, 2024. They will suggest several avenues for reflection to help the bio-food sector better structure the development and management of territorial brands, and ensure that they become more and more a part of Quebecers' consumer habits.
