CIRANO and its main partner for this activity, the Financial Markets Authority (AMF), launched registrations for the Bourstad 2024 competition on January 16, 2024, between noon and 1 p.m., an event in which it was possible to participate in person or at distance.
Benoit Desgroseillers, vice-president of talent development at Finance Montréal and honorary president of the Bourstad competition, Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, president and CEO of CIRANO, and Me Alexandre Bardoux, regional director of regulation at OCRI and president of the jury for the Bourstad 2024 competition were present as well as representatives of the competition's sponsors.
Each year, this competition welcomes participants who must manage a virtual portfolio of $200,000 and invest this amount in different investment vehicles. For more information go to bourstad.ca.
