As part of the 11th edition of the Journées Internationales de la Francophonie en Mauricie, the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) is organizing a Day on Sustainable Development. The objective will be to highlight the expertise of the partners gathered to reflect together on the issues and innovative solutions in sustainable development for the Francophonie.
Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, full professor at Polytechnique Montréal, researcher, Fellow and CEO of CIRANO and Jean-Philippe Meloche, Director of the Faculty of Urban Planning, School of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture of the Université de Montréal, Fellow and principal researcher of the CIRANO's Territories major theme will participate in a session on scientific advice for sustainable cities and communities.
This workshop will allow stakeholders in the science advisory community to explain and highlight the beneficial impacts of bringing science and municipal decision makers/electors together.
