The 57th Annual Conference of the Canadian Economics Association was co-hosted by the Economics Departments of the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg from June 1 to 3.
The annual conference is the cornerstone event of the Canadian Economics Association. Each year, in late May or early June, a variety of academic papers, state-of-the-art lectures and special sessions are presented. The conference is hosted by a Canadian university and participants come together (online or in person) to present their cutting-edge research, make connections, and participate in engaging lectures.
Laura Lasio, Professor at McGill University and CIRANO Researcher, Ignatius Horstmann, Professor Emeritus at the Rotman Institute, Tom Ross, Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia, and Robert Clark, Professor at the John Deutsch Institute and CIRANO Associate Researcher, organized few sessions.
