Christophe Mondin holds an engineering degree from École Mines-Télécom (specializing in polymers and composites) and a Master of Applied Science from Polytechnique Montréal (industrial engineering). After studying materials science, he completed a master's degree in research on the themes of risk perception and behavioural finance.
Having joined CIRANO once his academic experience was completed, he participated in various research projects on risk perception and social networks (scientific publications and localization of shared messages on social networks about the hydraulic fracturing industry in the United States), and on transformations related to digital technology and the advent of new technologies (in the agri-food industry for example). He was also involved in the working group that led to the publication of the Montreal Declaration for the Responsible Development of Artificial Intelligence, and participates in joint research work between CIRANO and the International Observatory on the Impacts of AI and Digital Technology.
