Biography

A CIRANO Researcher and Fellow since 1994, Bruce Shearer si Full Professor in the Department of Economics at Université Laval.

Holding a Ph.D. in Economics from Queen's University, he is a specialist in labour economics and applied econometrics. He has focused on incentive labour contracts in companies and their effects on worker productivity. His current research continues the study of incentive contracts and the effects of the different types of compensation, notably with respect to performance bonuses.
